Extensions and renovations to rooms and public areas at the multiple award-winning 4-star Victoria Best Western “eco hotel” in Freiburg were completed in late October 2009. Durable, environmentally friendly materials and local products were used in accordance with the wishes and environmental awareness of the hotel’s family owners. New, cosy hotel rooms have been created, two rooms have been specially designed to suit female guests, and a new health and fitness area is also available – all structured along natural lines in keeping with the rest of the hotel. The hotel also offers a newly laid-out area with just the right ambience that guests can use as a lounge during the day and as an extension to the bar in the evenings.
